March Empties 2019

Hi guys! It's time for another empties post already.

Indeed Labs Hydraluron Intense Moisture Lotion (PR / gifted, available from Boots for £24.99 and Indeed.com) - Now I've not tried the original Hydraluron so I can't compare but this cream is brilliant! I'd say it's more of a cream than a lotion. I always think of lotion as thinner and runny. This comes in a brilliant, airtight pump tube. It doesn't have a scent. It's very no nonsense and I mean that in a good way. It does exactly as promised - it hydrates skin brilliantly. Great value too!
Marks out of 10: 9/10
Do I recommend it: Yes, it's a perfect every day hydrating cream, especially good if you're using retinol.
Will I buy it? Probably not, but only because I like more than just hydration from my moisturiser like anti-aging benefits or brightening.

Tula Aqua Infusion Oil-Free Gel Cream (gifted by brand, Tula is available to buy from Beauty Bay, QVC UK and Tula.com) - This is a very lightweight gel cream, that literally just melts into skin when applied. It's like a glass of water for your face! I used this a lot over summer. As with all Tula products, it contains probiotics.
Marks Out of 10: 7/10
Do I recommend it? Yes
Will I buy again? No because for some reason this isn't on sale in the UK?! There's quite a few Tula products that for whatever reason aren't available over here - such a shame!

Wow You Beauty - Woke Up Like This Night Cream (bought myself, available from Wow You's website for £18) There's a full review of this cream HERE but just to re-cap - it's a lovely, light night cream that contains a gentle form of Retinol. It's gorgeous.
Marks Out of 10: 7/10
Do I recommend it? Yes
Will I repurchase: Definitely! It's a great cream and such good value.

Pixi x Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse (bought myself, available from Boots, Look Fantastic UK and USA, Pixi.com etc for £24) I was a bit slow getting this, despite watching Caroline Hirons on YouTube for ages! Caroline is known for her love of double cleansing, hence the product. It's actually two products in one - a balm which turns to an oil for your first cleanse, then a cream for your second cleanse. Both are unscented and incredibly efficient at their job.
Marks out of 10: 9/10 - only marked down as you don't get a huge amount of product.
Do I recommend it: Yes
Will I buy it again? Hmm probably not. It's a fabulous product but I like my cleansers to have a scent! It all depends what you're looking for in a cleanser really!

Elemis Frangipani Monoi Body Cream (bought as part of a set from QVC UK, also available from
Look Fantastic UK and USA for £27) Let me start by saying that this scent is my favourite fragrance ever! I adore it. It even beats Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum cream. But for some reason I'm not overly enamoured with this cream! It's nice, it leaves skin soft and smelling amazing but it doesn't wow me. I much prefer the body oil from the same range - now that is something special!
Marks out of 10: 7/10 purely for the scent!
Would I recommend it? Yes, it's not a bad cream. I'm just being picky.
Would I buy it again? Not on it's own  but if it was part of a QVC set on offer again, then yes.

Panachea Royal Treatment Moisturising Foil Mask (PR / Gifted, available from Panachea.co.uk for £8) - This sheet mask is packed full of fab ingredients including Beta-Glucan and Peptides. It comes in two parts for a better fit. It left my skin very hydrated. You can read my full review HERE
Marks out of 10: 7/10
Would I recommend it: Yes if you want a hydrating sheet mask.
Would I buy it? No because I prefer a traditional mask over a sheet mask.

Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream (got as part of a GWP, available from Boots, Look Fantastic UK and USA and many other retailers for approx. £22.50) I wasn't keen on this cream to start with but it grew on me. It's light, hydrating and smooths under eyes well.

Would I recommend it: Yes
Will I repurchase it? Unlikely as it doesn't beat Drunk Elephant C-Tango for me.

Benefit Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel (bought myself, available from Benefit, Boots, Look Fantastic UK and USA and other retailers for £21.50)
Benefit are known for their brow products for good reason - they're all fab! I've used a number of these now. I've tried out a couple of other brands versions and they're just not as good! This keeps brows in place, lightly colours them and add volume too. Perfect for my microbladed brows.
Marks out of 10: 10/10
Would I recommend it: Yes
Will I repurchase: Most definitely.

Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream (bought myself, available from Space NK & Drunk Elephant for £50) - I absolutely adore this cream! Super rich and comforting without being heavy. Love it.
Marks out of 10: 10/10
Do I recommend it? Yes!
Would I buy it again: Definitely! Luckily I've got another mini pot just like this.

Function of Beauty Bespoke Shampoo and Conditioner (bought myself, available from Function of Beauty, £29-39 depending on size - use my referral link HERE to get £10 off your first order.)
You can read my full review of this shampoo and conditioner HERE but just to re-cap - they are the best I've ever used! My hair is in the best condition it's ever been thanks to these. I use nothing else now. Now they might seem expensive but I get the large 473ml bottles for £39 and they last 6 months. I have super thick hair that's past my shoulders in length, which I wash 1-2 times a week. I use plenty of product too - a good 5-6 pumps of each. For me they work out amazing value, to say how high quality they are!
Marks out of 10: 10!
Do I recommend them? Yes, yes, yes!!
Will I repurchase? Of course. I already have. I actually have them set up on subscription to be automatically delivered every 6 months.

And that's it for this month - a pretty short one.
