Now I don't know about you but I've been pretty neglectful of my neck over the years. I used to try and remember to bring my skincare products down my neck and onto my chest, hearing Caroline Hirons in my head, saying her infamous quote "Take it to the tits" but I'd often forget or be too lazy. I know, I know! I should know better. Especially as my "tech neck" was getting worse by the day. I certainly hadn't used a dedicated neck product in ages! That was until Dermalogica's Neck Fit Contour Serum landed on my doorstep. I'm lucky enough to be part of Dermalogica's #skinfluencer team so regularly get sent products from them.
Now when I first saw the adverts for the Neck Fit Contour Serum, I was really intrigued because the packaging comes with a built in roller applicator. I couldn't decide if it was a bit of a gimmick or whether it would be the best thing since sliced bread!
So what does Neck Fit promise to do? Dermalogica describe it as a work-out for you neck and say that it will lift, smooth, tone and contour you neck in 12 weeks. It contains peptides and polysaccharide which are brilliant to help reduce signs of ageing.
Now on to how it performs. You twist the lid to let the product though, then gently squeeze whilst rolling the applicator over your neck, up to your chin. The first thing that struck me was how cooling it is! The applicator is fantastic - definitely not a gimmick. It makes it so easy to apply the serum, whist feeling lovely too. The serum itself is a gel consistency. It can be a tad sticky if you apply too much. Once I've applied the serum fully to my neck, I stop squeezing the tube but continue to roll the applicator over my neck to help rub the serum in. I've been applying the serum twice a day and let me tell you, I've been looking forward to it! If feels that nice to apply. So soothing and cooling.
As soon as the serum has dried / soaked into my skin, I can feel that my neck is well hydrated. It feels like the serum tightens skin a bit as it dries. It's not an uncomfortable feeling though. It actually feels like it forms a smoothing, protective layer on my skin. It still manages to feel lightweight though.
I've had an occasional issue with pilling / rolling when applying a moisturiser on top. I think the majority of the time, this has been my own fault for applying too much Neck Fit. You don't need a huge amount of product and once I got used to that, I had no issues.

I'm so impressed with the results! Plus it's such a treat to use, it means I don't forget to apply it. Win, win! The only slight downside it the price, it's not cheap. However I've been using it twice daily for 5 weeks now and there's still loads of product left in the tube. It's easily halfway full still, so it lasts well. I think for the results I've had, it's a bargain. It'll be a definite repurchase for me!
