I've been impatiently waiting for Australian SPF brand Ultra Violette to launch in the UK for ages so as soon as Space NK started stocking them, I snapped one up straight away. Ultra Violette are a blogger fave brand for good reason. Australian SPF's are known to be super reliable as their SPF grading system is very strict. Ultra Violette have a wide range of SPF's, so there should be something suitable for all skin types.

As I love a dewy finish, I picked the Queen Screen SPF 50. It promises to be lightweight and glowy whilst offering high UVA and UVB protection. The SPF contains Kakadu plum which is an antioxidant packed with Vitamin C so it provides skincare benefits too!

So on to how the SPF performs. It comes in a dropper bottle because it's a runny serum consistency. I use three droppers full for my face and neck. Texture wise, it's incredibly silky smooth. It absorbs beautifully and gives skin a visible glow. The SPF contains mica which adds to the dewiness. I've noticed that sometimes the mica clumps together so it can occasionally feel a bit gritty. I've found that giving it a good shake before use sorts that out so it's not an issue.

The SPF has quite a strong rose scent - this definitely won't be to everyone's taste. Personally, I really like it! It doesn't mask the traditional SPF scent though. Normally if I can smell the SPF scent, it's an indicator that it will make my eyes water (they're sensitive) but luckily this doesn't effect my eyes at all. Both the rose and SPF scent fade quickly.

Queen Screen doesn't leave a white cast on me, although I am very pale skinned. From what I've seen with other people's reviews, it's suitable for all skin tones. I've not had any pilling or rolling issues from it either, plus it works brilliantly under makeup.

As you can tell, I've been enjoying using this SPF and am pleased to say that it lives up to the hype!

Ultra Violette Queen Screen is available from Space NK & Cult Beauty for £36.
