I've been testing Dr Ceuracle's Vegan Kombucha Tea Gel Cream out for a while now so thought it was time to share my thoughts. I tend to prefer lightweight gel moisturisers in summer anyway but this one has been a particular life saver during the last couple of weeks, as we've had a heat wave in the UK. The last thing I've wanted is anything to heavy or rich on my skin!

Dr Ceuracle are one of the many amazing brands stocked at Tonic15, which is my go-to store for all things K-Beauty. The brand was founded by well known dermatologists and they focus on creating skincare that calms and soothes skin.

This moisturiser is the latest addition to the Kombucha Tea range. Kombucha Tea extract is fermented black tea which contains an amazing mix of probiotics and Vitamin B. This is brilliant to soothe irritated skin as well as hydrating. It also contains Camellia Sinesis Leaf Water which is an amazing combination of amino acids, vitamins, tannins and proteins that work together to deeply hydrate your skin and support your skin barrier.

So on to how it performs. The moisturiser has the most amazing texture. It's a gel that literally just melts into your skin when applied. It gives an incredible burst of hydration straight away. It absorbs beautifully - there's no stickiness at all. It plays well with the other products I've used alongside it. I've not had any pilling / rolling issues, even when wearing makeup. It has a very subtle herbal scent to it which I find really pleasant.

This cream was another product that I used after having SkinPen microneedling done. It was absolutely perfect for that as it's lightweight enough to layer on numerous times throughout the day, plus it's super soothing too.

For me, this is a perfect cream to use in summer as it's weightless to apply and keeps skin so well hydrated throughout the day, which helps stop my skin getting as oily. I've loved using it in both my AM and PM routines. It's definitely become one of my go to products that I've not been able to put down! Do you prefer a gel cream when the weather is warmer?
