Trinny London Warrior Queen Collection

You all know by now that I'm obsessed with Trinny London makeup. I love everything about the brand - from the travel friendly stacked packaging to the fantastic long-wear cream formulas. If you've not read my previous reviews of their products you can find them linked here (Brand review / BFF Eye / Veebee, Lady J & Rocketman Collection.)

Trinny's latest products are 4 additions to the Eye2eye cream eyeshadow range, collectively called "Warrior Queen". These shades are inspired by summer and sunsets. They're designed to invoke strength, desire and heat. In real terms - they're a stunning set of shimmery, neutral shades as follows:

Queen - a rich caramel bronze with rose gold flecks.
Victory - a neutral aged gold, not yellow or brassy.
Desire - a dual shade, of a warm brown base with a burgundy shimmer.
Virtue - a champagne gold with rose gold shimmer.

Now as I'm part of the Trinny Tribe Facebook group, I was able to pre-order from the Warrior collection. I'm sure when I ordered, three of the shades were in my Match2Me results but when I've looked since none of them are! Match2Me is Trinny London's guide of what shades will suit you, based on your skin tone, eyes and hair colour. It's been brilliantly accurate for me so I mostly stick to it. I had to restrain myself and not order all 4 shades - they're all so pretty! I decided on two in the end - Virtue and Queen. Just look at those swatches!

Top - Queen, Bottom - Virtue.

Stunning aren't they! Virtue is perfect to really brighten up the eye area, leaving you looking more awake. It's shimmery but still subtle. Queen is definitely more glittery - the rose gold really pops against the bronze background. I'm looking forward to wearing them together to create a warm, smoky eye. I'll apply Virtue on the inner corner of my eye towards the middle, then add Queen to the rest of the lid and blend together. Formula wise - they're the same high quality cream as always. They're pigmented and long-wearing. These have made a great addition to my ever growing collection of Trinny London makeup. I'm sure I'll be adding the other two shades soon enough!
