I'm a huge Hourglass fan and always look forward to their Christmas releases! I use Hourglass products on a daily basis - their powders are incredible quality. They're not the cheapest but they're worth every penny in my opinion. They last ages too! I've been using my original palette pretty much every day for a couple of years now and there's still loads left.

This year they have brought out not one for two limited edition palettes! The first is the Ambient Lighting Edit Ghost which is their usual 6 pan palette which contains a mix of their Ambient Lighting Finishing Powders, a bronzer, 2 blushers and a highlighter. As I've got plenty of the Ambient Lighting Finishing Powders in my other palettes - I decided to give this one a miss. However as soon as I saw the second palette, I knew I had to have it. This palette is a blush quad and she's a beauty!

The quad contains 3 brand new shades and 1 existing shade. What makes these blushers so special is their beautiful marbled effect. This gives an added illumination for that perfect glowy finish. I've never know powders as finely milled as those from Hourglass - they're incredibly light and blend like an absolute dream! The blushers are very pigmented too as you can see from the below swatches - they were single swipes!

These are definitely my kind of shades! I love pinks and coral / peach blushes - they're super flattering for my skin tone. Once again Hourglass have brought out a fantastic, high quality palette that I'll get loads of use from.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Quad Ghost is available HERE for £45 and Ambient Lighting Edit Ghost is available HERE for £75 - although they won't be around for long! Don't miss out.
