The final empties post of 2020! This year has been interesting to say the least. Here's to a better 2021!
Skincity Shower Power Peel (PR, available HERE for £13) - You can read my full review of this HERE but to recap - this is a fantastic mix of physical and acid exfoliation. The physical scrub is very fine and gentle. It leaves skin super smooth and soft. Great value for money too.

Antipodes Baptise H2O Ultra-Hydrating Water Gel (PR, available from Feel Unique, Look Fantastic and All Beauty for £29.99) - This is an absolutely gorgeous moisturiser! It's a gel texture - it reminds me of Clinique Moisture Surge but without the silicone feel. It's super lightweight and hydrating. Plus is smells of rose / Turkish delight! Gorgeous.

Will I repurchase? Definitely at some point!
A. Florence Skincare Hydrating Milky Toner (bought myself, available HERE for £27) - Such a fantastic toner! It's a thicker than water, milky consistency that feels silky to apply. I pat it in using my hands. It's full of nourishing and hydrating ingredients like ceramides and hyaluronic acid.

Purito Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF 50 / 19... (bought myself, currently unavailable) - There was uproar in the beauty community recently when this SPF was re-tested in a lab and it's SPF rating was 19 not 50 as stated. Now to say this caused ructions would be an understatement as this is a hugely popular SPF. Luckily for me, I wasn't too keen in it! I found it to be a bit heavy for my taste. It's been removed from sale until Purito can sort it all out. It looks like it's the lab that gave them the formula may have been the ones who classified it wrongly (from what I've read).
Marks out of 10 if it was actually 50: 6/10

Will I repurchase? No.
Image Clear Cell Clarifying Mask (PR, available from All Beauty for £32 & Face The Future for £42) - Unfortunately I didn't get on with this mask at all. It made my skin go bright red and hot as soon as I applied it. I had to wash it off. I think it could be that this has quite a strong menthol scent to it and that my skin will be more easily sensitised as I'm using prescription retinol. It'll get passed on to a friend to use instead.
I can't mark it out of 10 as my reaction to it will purely be personal not an issue with the mask.
Will I repurchase? No.
Jan Marini Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant SPF 30 (PR, available as part of a set from Face The Future for £131.99) - Another one that I didn't get on with. This has the same scent as their Vitamin C serum that I mentioned last month. It's a fresh pleasant scent but unfortunately it gives me a migraine. I tried it a couple of times to be certain. The SPF itself has a beautiful texture. It's lightweight and nourishing. It absorbs quickly and easily and isn't greasy and doesn't leave a white cast. It did however make my eyes water.
Marks out of 10: 5/10
Do I recommend it? If you're not scent sensitive or don't get watery eyes from SPF, it's worth a try!
Will I repurchase it? No.
Function of Beauty Shampoo & Conditioner (bought myself, available HERE from £29) - You can read my review if these HERE but to recap - I've been using these for a couple of years now. I have them set up on subscription. They're a bespoke haircare service (my blog review has all the info). They're brilliant.

Will I repurchase? Already have.
Function of Beauty Leave-In Conditioner (bought myself, available HERE for £19) - You can read my full review of this HERE but to recap - this is a brilliant leave-in conditioner. It's very lightweight and definitely gives hair extra nourishment. I had long hair when I bought this and used it every time I washed my hair. Now my hair is short, I don't really need it. I was using it up but it's well passed it's best.

Will I repurchase? If I grow my hair again, definitely!
Function of Beauty Hair Mask (bought myself, available HERE for £19) - Again this is past it's best and hasn't been used as much since I cut my hair short. It's a fantastic thick, rich mask that worked brilliantly to leave hair super soft.

Will I repurchase? If I grow my hair, yes.
Drunk Elephant Kamili Cream Body Cleanser (bought myself, available from Space NK & Cult Beauty for £17) - This is a creamy gel cleanser that has a subtle marzipan scent. The scent doesn't linger though. It lathers nicely and leaves skin soft.

Do I recommend it? If you support DE yes.
Will I repurchase? No, I no longer support the brand (google Drunk Elephant drama, you'll see why!).
Bioglan Beauty Collagen Gummies (bought myself, available HERE for £18.99) - I've been taking these for a year or two now. They're my go-to collagen supplement that I have set up on subscription to deliver monthly. You save some money this way too! They make a huge difference to the strength of my nails.

Beauty Pie Perfect Daily Multivitamin Supplements (bought myself, available HERE for £11.37 for Beauty Pie members) - If you're not sure how Beauty Pie membership works - read my blog post HERE. I thought I'd give these a try as they were new out. I didn't notice a difference whilst taking them but it's sometimes hard to measure these things!
Marks out of 10: ? who knows! LOL
Do I recommend them? They're always worth a try.
Will I repurchase them? No.
Omorovicza Queen of Hungary mist (bought myself, available from Space NK, Cult Beauty, Feel Unique, Look Fantastic, Face the Future for £22 for this travel size or full size for £59 or All Beauty for £34.95) - This is such a beautiful mist. It has the finest mist spray to it and it's scent it incredible! It's a mix of neroli, rose and orange blossom. Heavenly.

Dermatica Prescription serum (PR, available HERE for £19.99 a month) - This is month two finished of my prescription which contains 0.025 Tretinoin, 4% Azelaic Acid and 4% Niacinamide. I noticed that it got a bit gritty towards the end of the tube. My prescription was originally meant to contain 10% Azelaic Acid but Dermatica had been having issues with it being gritty so changed it to 4%. Apparently it's a common issue with Azelaic Acid at higher strengths and that they were looking to fix it but had dropped it down to 4% in the meantime. I've not found it an issue as it was right at the end of my tube but it's something I'll keep an eye out for with my next one. So far, although I've found this serum to be effective, it's not given results any better than my usual Medik8 Crystal Retinal 10. I've barely been using acids whilst I've been on this prescription as it would be too much for my skin, whereas with the Medik8 one I can. I'll see how I get on with month 3 and update you after that!

Will I repurchase? My 3rd month has arrived, we'll see after that!
Boho Cosmetics For Heavens Cake Whipped Body Wash (bought myself, available HERE for £6.95) - OMG this really is heavenly! It's a beautiful, whipped creamy body wash that's so gentle to skin. The scent it incredible - it really does smell like cake. The fragrance lingers wonderfully too - although if you've got a sweet tooth like me, I'll warn you - it can make you hungry!

Will I repurchase? Most definitely!
And that's it for this year! Thanks for reading.
