The bushy brow trend is going nowhere and I for one am pleased about that! I'm always on the look out for the perfect brow product that will keep my brows exactly where I want them. My brows aren't the thickest or the bushiest. In fact, they're a bit sparse in places! That's why I need a brow product to keep each hair exactly where I want it. I've got my technique perfected of brushing my brows in such a way, that it makes them look fuller. But I'd often find that part way through the day, my brows weren't where I'd left them. Don't worry they'd not crawled off my face like fuzzy caterpillars but they weren't carefully groomed anymore. I first saw ABH Brow Freeze on Lisa Potter-Dixon's Instagram stories. She'd had Brow Freeze on 10 hours, under a COVID visor (whilst working) and her brows hadn't moved at all! Obviously I went and ordered it straight away.
So, onto the product itself. ABH describes it as a transparent wax that will give you the laminated brow look. The texture of it really surprised me. I expected it to be quite firm with it being described as a wax (like the Patrick Ta Brow Wax) but it's not! It's very soft, almost like a firm gel. It's totally see through in the pot. You apply the wax using a spoolie brush. I just dip the brush into the wax. I've found I only need the smallest amount. Once it's on the brush, I just comb it through my brows, brushing them up and gently teasing them into place. The wax clings to my brows just right. It doesn't leave any residue or flaky bits. If I touch my brows, you can definitely feel the product on them but they're not crispy or sticky. The only way I can describe it, is that they feel firm.
Now onto the main thing, does it actually hold them in place? It's all well and good having a product to set your brows but it's the staying power that really matters. Let me tell you, this stuff does not budge! Once your brows are in place, they'll stay that way all day. I'm oily skinned so would expect that to have an effect on the longevity but it doesn't. I'm so impressed! I've even exercised and they've not moved! Incredible. Take a look at the below before and after photo to see the difference it makes.
As you can tell, I'm in love with this product and would highly recommend it, especially if you love brushed up brows. You get 8g of product which I think will last quite a while as you only need to use a small amount.
