I don’t know about you but as soon as the weather gets warmer, I prefer to switch to lighter moisturisers especially for during the day. I’ve been testing Dear Klairs Fundamental Water Gel Cream for over a month now and I’m hooked!
Dear Klairs are a Korean skincare brand that focus on simple, effective formulas that are suitable for all skin types, even those with sensitive skin. The Fundamental Water Gel Cream is designed to deeply hydrate skin without being heavy or greasy. It contains 63.7% Jeju Green Tea Water which hydrates skin whilst helping lock moisture in. It also contains Hyaluronic Acid and Panthenol to moisturise and nourish skin.
On to how it performs. Texture wise, it’s probably the runniest gel cream that I’ve ever tried! You can literally pour it, it’s that runny. Check out the texture shot below. It's so hard to capture just how gorgeous and glossy it is!
As it's so runny, it means it's incredibly lightweight and easily absorbed. It feels weightless. The cream instantly hydrates and plumps skin. It’s not sticky or tacky like some gel creams can be. It’s really cooling too. I have dehydrated skin and this has worked brilliantly to keep my skin well hydrated during the day.
I recently had microneedling done and this moisturiser was an absolute lifesaver for using post treatment. I was able to apply it numerous times throughout the day without it feeling heavy or pilling / rolling. It was so incredibly soothing and nourishing. Exactly what my skin needed! It doesn’t block my pores either.
All in all, I’m so impressed with this moisturiser. I’ve been using it both AM and PM and my skin has loved it! For me, it’s a perfect summer cream.
