As soon as I saw Murad's Daily Clarifying Peel advertised, I knew I had to try it! It sounded right up my street as it promises to help with both signs of ageing and spots, which are my main skin concerns. There's literally about one or two uses left in this bottle, so I thought it was time for my review!

First of all, a bit about the peel. It has a bi-phase formula, that you shake to mix, before applying with a cotton pad. I like to really soak my reusable cotton pads with the peel, then swipe it over my face a couple of times. I usually hold it on my chin area to sit for a bit, as this is where my acne mainly is. The liquid itself has quite a strong minty fresh scent to it, which won't be to everyone's taste. My skin can be really sensitive with menthol but was strangely fine with this! I would say that it's more mint than menthol though, the cooling sensation it gives is nowhere near as harsh as menthol. I actually found it quite refreshing! This scent definitely faded the longer the bottle was open.

The peel contains a mix of Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid and a Retinoid which all work together to gently exfoliate skin, clear pores and soften fine lines. It also contains Avocado extract to reduce shine and help balance skin, Allantoin to soothe, Glycerin to hydrate and Urea and Amino Acids to strengthen skin.

I've been using this pretty much every day since opening it! I've not wanted to use any other exfoliants as this is absolutely brilliant. It gives me instantly smooth skin without being harsh. The peel actually feels quite nourishing on the skin, thanks to containing some oils. It's not greasy or heavy though. It's definitely gently enough to use every day (for me anyway).

I've found the peel to be incredibly effective at keep spots at bay, as well quickly clearing up any that do appear. It's also brilliant to quickly fade any pigmentation left behind by spots. It does all this whilst being super gentle to skin. It's never caused me any irritation or redness.

It's not often that a fall as hard and fast for a product as I have with this! It's truly incredible. My skin is so smooth and clear. I've had to stop myself from immediately buying another bottle as I've got other exfoliants to test! I'll definitely buying a replacement soon though.

Murad Daily Clarifying Peel is available from Murad, Look Fantastic, ASOS for £33, All Beauty for £29.70, Cult Beauty for £28.08.
