Welcome to my first empties blog post of 2019! I'm going to make a few changes to my empties posts this year buy adding a score out of 10 for each product and if I would repurchase it or not and the reasoning behind my decision.

Tula Hydrating Day and Night Cream* - this is such a gorgeous cream. It works well both day and night. It's a lovely consistency - light but rich. It really leaves skin plumped and hydrated. The only negative I have is the fragrance - it's a lovely fresh scent but it's pretty strong which I know could be problematic for some people. Luckily it's not for me!
Would I buy again? No but only because I prefer Tula's other cream (Aqua Infusion Oil Free Gel Cream) and I would buy that instead.
Marks out of 10: 8/10

Tula Dual-Phase Skin Reviving Treatment Pad* - These are for exfoliating. You slip the pad over your fingers, one side is the exfoliating serum, the other a gentle physical scrub. I got a good acid tingle from the first side. It's a nice, quick treatment that left my face very smooth and soft after. Perfect to use once a week or every couple of weeks as a treatment. I've got quite a few more left in the pack so will enjoy using them!
Would I buy it again? Yes.
Marks out of 10: 8/10. Only marked down as they're fairly expensive (16 in a pack - £48 from Beauty Bay / £33.50 from QVC UK. No idea why there is such a huge discrepancy in the prices!)

Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm* - This was my favourite cleansing balm until A.Florence's balm came out. It's like being at a spa using it, the scent, the texture, just wonderful! And it removes makeup brilliantly. Love it!
Would I buy it again? I've already got a pot in my stash.
Marks out of 10: 10/10 - why? See above.

Veneffect Micro-Exfoliant* - I've gone through a couple of mini tubes of this now. I loved it originally but I've gone off it a bit now. It's just a bit too scrubby when my acne is flared up.
Would I buy it again? Not at the moment.
Marks out of 10: 5/10

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel* - This cleanser is a gorgeous rose gel that melts into a silky oil on your skin. It cuts through makeup brilliantly and leaves skin soft and bright. As you can see I butchered the tube to get every last drop out!
Would I buy it again? I've already got a full sized bottle.

Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip* - This is the original formula. I loved everything about it, it's gorgeous slip consistency and how is balanced my skin. I've heard the new version isn't as good. It's been made more gentle as some found the original drying. I never had this issue personally.
Would I repurchase? I would like to try the new version to see how it compares but I'm wary of bad reviews. If I can get a small tube to try, I will do. In the meantime I've found a brilliant replacement - A.Florence Hydrating Gel Cleanser. It's got the same amazing slip texture but thicker and it's insanely hydrating.

IGK Mistress Hydrating Hair Balm* - This leave in conditioner is a nice, light consistency so it doesn't weigh hair down or make it lank or greasy. It's not heavily scented either.
Would I buy again? I already have! I got a set in the sale which included a bigger tube.
Marks out of 10: 8/10

Drunk Elephant A-Passioni* - sample. I couldn't wait to try this beauty out! Drunk Elephant's long awaited Retinol. I managed to get two uses out of this packet. I'm used to Paula's Choice Clinical 1% Retinol Treatment* so I thought I'd be fine with this as it also contains 1% Retinol. I could tell as soon as I applied it that the DE was stronger! It's a lovely thick cream serum. I used it two nights running as I didn't want the sample to spoil - big mistake! I ended up with sensitivity around my eye area. Definitely my own fault. Aside from that, the rest of my skin looked great!
Will I buy it? Yes! I've got a couple of other Retinol serums to use first but this is now on my wish list. I'll be more cautious and build up my usage when I do buy it!
Marks out of 10: From as much as I could tell from two uses 9/10

And that's it for this month. Quite a short one!
