Allies Of Skin Peptides & Antioxidants Firming Daily Treatment Review

I'm not going to lie, I bought this purely after seeing Caroline Hirons recommend it! I'm a fan of Allies of Skin anyway but after I'd seen her talk about both their moisturisers a couple of times, I decided I had to try them, starting with the Peptides & Antioxidants Firming Daily Treatment.

So on to the moisturiser. As with all Allies of Skin products, it's jam packed with amazing ingredients. It's described as a treatment as it can be used either as a serum or as a moisturiser, depending on your needs. Texture wise, it's quite a lightweight cream which is surprisingly nourishing. As someone with dehydrated, oily / combination skin, it makes a perfect moisturiser for me. I'd say if you have dry skin, it would be better as a serum treatment, with a moisturiser on top. 

The treatment contains Allies of Skin's 16.5% Repair Complex which helps to combat inflammation along with 7 brighteners and 9 Antioxidants, Vitamin C & Tripeptide-5 which both help to brighten pigmentation, Marrubium Vulgare extract and Palmitoyl Tripeptide-8 protect from external aggressors like pollution as well as restoring damaged skin. It also contains Niacinamide which is great to help smooth skin as well as controlling oil production, as well as two forms of hyaluronic acid and glycerin to hydrate. 

I'm about 3/4 way through this tube now and have been using this in my morning routine. I've been loving it so much, I've barely used anything else since opening it! It leaves my skin so well hydrated and nourished, without being heavy or greasy. I've had no issues with it pilling or rolling, regardless of what other products I used alongside it, which is a huge plus for me. With regular use, I've found my skin looks more well rested and just generally in better condition. Very impressed!

So in conclusion, I LOVE IT! It will definitely be a repurchase for me, which is unfortunate for my bank balance as it's not the cheapest. For me though, it's worth every penny so I don't mind splurging on it. If it's within your budget, I highly recommend it.
