Look Fantastic Subscription Box August

The last couple of months I've been a little underwhelmed with my Latest in Beauty subscription box. I keep missing out on items that I want as they go out of stock quickly (you choose your own products at a set time each month). So my eye has been wondering to other beauty subscription boxes that are available. It's not been bad by any means, there's still been loads of great products to choose from but I've just become a bit bored with it! I've been seeing numerous Instagram posts about the Look Fantastic beauty box* and it piqued my interest. So after much deliberation I subscribed for 3 months. They've recently just changed how they bill their subscriptions so I didn't have to pay upfront for all 3 months, it gets billed monthly, you're just tied in for 3 months. I thought this was great as you still benefit from getting your subscription slightly cheaper. The longer you sign up for, the more discount you receive. So I signed up to pay £14.50 a month for the next 3 months.

So what do you get for your money? Well Look Fantastic promise that each box will contain a carefully curated selection of the hottest beauty items around, from cult classics to new up and coming products. Each box is guaranteed to have at least £40 worth of products, so you're always getting a bargain!

Now onto this months box... As you can see the presentation of the box is outstanding. Your products are housed in a sturdy box which is colour co-ordinated with the tissue and packaging. The box would be great to re-use and store items in.

Now for the products...

Molton Brown Gingerlily Body Wash 100ml* - Now I have a small confession. This is my first Molton Brown product!! I'm pretty sure that this make's me an official blogger now. I had to use this the day I got it. It's not a scent I would have normally chosen but I actually really liked it! It's a warm but fresh fragrance. The body wash lathers up beautifully and leaves skin feeling moisturised.

INC.redible Glazin Over Intense Lip Glaze (in shade Love Don't Hate - full sized)* - I was pleasantly surprised by this! I'm usually a matte lipstick gal so originally wasn't too fussed about this. But as I'd heard great things about the brand, I thought I'd give it a go. I'm pleased I did! This is somewhere between a gloss and a lipstick, I'd say it's a satin finish. It's incredibly pigmented and is a rich bright plum colour. It applies really smoothly and isn't sticky or messy. It kept on my lips well too, no bleeding. I think it wore longer that a gloss normally does because of it being so pigmented. It was very comfortable to wear. I'll definitely wear this again.

Blink Brow Bar Brow Styling Gel (mini in shade Indian Chocolate) - Now I'm a Benefit Gimmie Brow addict so I'm quite looking forward to seeing how one of their competitors compares! As I've got my brows microbladed all I need now is a bit of tinted gel to keep the colour uniform (I've got the odd grey) and to hold everything in place!

Erno Laszlo Firm and Lift Essence Lotion (mini)*- I've seen this brand on Instagram a lot but have yet to try anything from them, so I was excited to see this included! Plus the one product that my skincare collection is lacking is Essence! This promises to lift and revitalise skin.

Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash (40ml)* - Again another brand I've seen and heard lots about but haven't tried! This is a decent sized tube as well. This cleanser promises to gently remove dirt and help balance sebum. It contains Moringa Oil which is an anti-inflammatory so this will be perfect for my acne prone skin. I've got far too many cleansers open at the moment so this will have to wait!

Mio Boob Tube+ Multi-Action Bust Cream (30ml)* - This is a previously unknown brand to me. This breasticle specific cream promises to go the extra mile to keep our mammories looking pert and perky! It contains some fab ingredients like hyaluronic acid and Shea butter. I've not used a cream that's just for my boobs before but I look forward to giving this a go!

And last but not least I received an extra item in my box for signing up - this was the iconic Oskia Renaissance Mask*. I've tried this mask before and have a bit of a love / hate relationship with it! I love it's scent and effects but I feel like its smothering my skin when it's on! But I'll certainly use this up as the effects outweigh anything else. This leaves skin super soft and smooth after use as it gently exfoliates.

And that's it for my first Look Fantastic box*! I'm impressed with this one and am looking forward to the next one arriving (which actually won't be long!). Are a subscribed to a beauty box?
