Panachea Royal Treatment Mask

Panachea were kind enough to send me their new Royal Treatment mask to try recently. It's a hydrating gold foil sheet mask that looks and feels luxurious. Now I'm not always the biggest lover of sheet masks but this one is different! 

The main features of the mask are intense hydration, thanks to amazing ingredients like Beta-Glucan and Sodium Hyaluronate and anti-aging benefits from peptides. It comes in innovative two-part packaging - the serum is one side and the dry mask on the other. You break the seal that joins the two compartments then squish the serum through and massage until the mask is fully soaked with serum. I struggled with this the first time I used the mask as I was being to gentle as I was worried about popping it! I needn't have worried as the packaging is very robust. When using a second time, I found it much easier. The reason for this packaging is to keep the active ingredients super fresh.

The mask itself comes in two sections so it fits your face well and doesn't slip and slide as much as regular sheet masks. It's non-drip too, which is amazing! That's one of my pet hates with other masks so I really love that feature.

Now the instructions say to leave on for 15 minutes but I would quite happily leave this on for longer! There's enough serum on the mask that it would take a while to fully dry out. After using, it leaves my skin so incredibly hydrated! It really plumps up my skin, to the point that my pores look minimised. That's always a good point for me, as my large pores are something I'm self conscious about. I think this would make a perfect mask for before a special occasion or going out. Makeup sits so well on skin when it's that hydrated.
