This is probably one of Dear Klairs most popular products but I've been a bit late to the party with trying it! Let's just say, it's been worth the wait. Dear Klairs are a cruelty free Korean skincare brand that produce products that are suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

The Midnight Blue Calming Cream is specifically designed to soothe and calm skin when it's inflamed or irritated. It contains hero ingredient Centella Asiatica which is brilliant to help repair damaged skin, as well as Guaiazulene which is a chamomile oil extract that's extra calming. It also contains glycerin and sodium hyaluronate to hydrate and peptides for helping with signs of ageing.

Texture wise, it's absolutely gorgeous! It's rich and feels really nourishing and protective, almost like it forms a soothing layer on my skin. It's not greasy or heavy at all though. I think that this makes it especially good for oily, acne prone skin like mine, as you get all the replenishing goodness without it blocking pores and causing spots.

Dear Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream

I've been preferring to use this moisturiser in my PM skincare routine, as that's when I exfoliate and use retinol. It's brilliant if my skin is feeling sensitised - it instantly soothes my skin. I've not had any pilling / rolling issues with it. It's worked brilliantly alongside the other products in my routine.

After using, I've found that my skin is calm and redness or sensitivity is reduced. My skin is acne prone and dehydrated so I often struggle to find creams that are nourishing and hydrating enough, without them being heavy and blocking my pores. This one works brilliantly for me - my skin loves it! It definitely lives up to the hype. Another winner from Dear Klairs!
