Refy Beauty are a fairly new brand created by influencer Jess Hunt. Now I have to admit, I'd not actually heard of Jess until Refy launched but I soon followed her when I saw her chic Instagram feed! Refy Beauty launched with brow products and if you've seen Jess's eyebrows, you'll understand why. Her brow are goals, as the kids say! Her signature look is brushed up, fluffy brows so it made perfect sense for her to create products that help you achieve that look. Now after hearing glowing review after glowing review, I knew I had to try these brow products for myself!
The Brow Collection set consists of three products - Brow Sculpt to set, Brow Pomade to shade and Brow Pencil to define. The set is available in three shades - light, medium and dark. I went for shade medium, which is a great match for me.
So, on to how they perform! The first step is Brow Sculpt. It's a white, thick, sticky gel that's applied with a mascara style brush. The brush is fairly large but is easy to use and apply the product with.
The other end of the tube houses a brush and comb duo. These are really useful to tweak and set your brows in place.
Now although it's quite a sticky formula, it's not uncomfortable or difficult to apply. I was worried that it would be visible, with it being white, but it's not at all. It's definitely my favourite brow gel to date as it's so effective! It keeps my brows in place all day, without being crispy or flaky. You can see in the below photo how fluffy it makes the brow on the right look!
Next is the Brow Pomade. This is my least favourite step of the three. It's a nice formula but I feel it's a bit warm for my brows. You can see in the swatches below. The Brow Pomade is on the left, the Brow Pencil is the three on the right.
The Brow Pomade comes with a brush in the lid to apply it with. I find the brush too thick and soft. I'd have preferred a thinner, stiffer brush for more precise application.
The Pomade itself is a nice formula that blends easily. I'll be honest and say that I often skip this step but it does add an extra bit of dimension to my brows. Again, just the right brow has product on it.
Lastly is the Brow Pencil. I really love this formula! It's a twist up pencil with a spoolie at the other end.
Check out the finished look with both brows done in the photo below. Just a quick side note - my brows are naturally wonky with one being higher than the other. I try to even them out but it's pretty impossible. I know they say brows should be sisters not twins but mine are more like second cousins!
