I'll be completely honest and admit that I'd never really been attracted to Glow Recipe products before. I always thought they looked a bit gimmicky. That was until they brought out the Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops. I adore Niacinamide - it's a fantastic ingredient that has worked wonders for my skin. It helps control oil production which in turn helps prevent spots from forming. What really peaked my interest with this product was the promise of dewy, glowy skin. I'm a sucker for anything that makes me glow! However I often find that products that say they'll deliver glow, often deliver glitter instead. Now I love glitter but not all over my face. I had enough of that with roll on glitter as a kid! After seeing a few reviews of this product, including how it looks on skin, I decided I had to try it.

Dew Drops can be used in two ways - as your last step in your skincare routine or on top of makeup as a highlighter. It gives skincare benefits as it contains Niacinamide, Hyaluronic acid and Glycerin to hydrate. I've been using them as a last step in my skincare routine on no makeup days. Texture wise, it's a gel consistency that it so lightweight. It almost seems to turn to water as it's applied and it melts into skin beautifully. They have a very light scent of watermelon but this doesn't linger (which I was pleased about as I'm not a fan of watermelon scent). The Dew Drops have a lovely sheen to them - it's definitely not glittery at all. It gives skin an instant dewy glow without looking greasy or shiny. For me, it's perfect to perk my skin up whilst still looking natural. I love it! It would definitely work well over makeup too, as a subtle highlighter. You can see from the below photo what a gorgeous, dewy finish it gives.

All in all, I'm really impressed with the Dew Drops. They do exactly what they promise, whilst having the added benefit of being good for your skin! Win win in my book. They're definitely made me reconsider Glow Recipe's other products. I'm eyeing up the plum hydrating serum next!
